Purpose of donations

Donations made through ektaseva.com support Ekta Seva Foundation causes and campaigns such as food and nutrition support, education continuity, medical assistance, animal welfare, emergency relief and community welfare.

Each campaign page describes the intended use of support. General donation options may be used for the most urgent or suitable approved community-help activities within our published areas of work.

Voluntary contribution

A donation is voluntary. Suggested amounts are only examples. Donors may choose a listed amount or another amount where the website provides that option.

No one should donate under pressure, by mistake, or beyond an amount they can responsibly afford. Please read the campaign details and policies before authorising payment.

No sale of goods or services

A donation does not purchase any product, service, subscription, membership or direct personal benefit for the donor. The donation is intended to support charitable and community-help activities.

There is no shipping, delivery of goods to the donor or commercial order fulfilment connected with a donation.

How donations may be used

Depending on the selected campaign, donations may support prepared meals, groceries, learning materials, school-related expenses, medical assessment or treatment-related assistance, medicines, recovery support, animal food, rescue support, veterinary care, shelter, emergency essentials, transport, coordination and other reasonable costs connected to the stated purpose.

Where a selected activity is completed, impractical, unsafe, fully funded or no longer able to use all available funds, remaining funds may be applied to a closely related cause or another approved support need, subject to responsible internal review and applicable requirements.

Payment methods and donor responsibility

The website may provide UPI or other payment options. The final payment is authorised inside the donor's payment app, bank app or payment provider interface.

Before entering a UPI PIN or approving payment, the donor is responsible for confirming the amount and payee shown by the payment app. Do not proceed if the amount, payee or purpose looks wrong.

Donation records and acknowledgements

The website may record donation intent, selected cause, donor name, phone, email, amount, transaction reference and payment status information available to us. These records help with reconciliation, support queries and administration.

A website confirmation message, redirect, or recorded intent does not by itself prove that funds were successfully credited. Bank, UPI and payment-provider records govern the final transaction status.

Tax and regulatory notes

Do not assume any tax deduction, exemption or regulatory benefit unless an eligible receipt expressly states it and all legal conditions are satisfied.

Donors are responsible for retaining their own bank or UPI transaction record and seeking independent tax advice where required.

Refunds and cancellation

Donations that are successfully authorised and credited are generally final and non-refundable. Please read the Refund & Cancellation Policy before making payment.

Payment failures, pending transactions, duplicate payments, unauthorized payments or technical issues should be handled as described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy and through the donor's bank or payment provider where required.
