A friend, a brain tumour and help that could not arrive in time

Ekta Seva Foundation began with the death of a friend who had a brain tumour. Sufficient funds for treatment were not available, and the experience left behind grief, difficult questions and a determination to help others facing urgent costs.

The foundation cannot rewrite that ending. It can carry the lesson forward: serious illness should not force a family to search for compassion alone, and people who want to help should have a clear way to respond.

That personal loss became the beginning of a mission reaching beyond medical care to food, education, animal welfare, emergency relief and community support.
